We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with expertise in "growth hacking" to join The Artling team!
We need someone who is 100% self-driven and determined to make a change. This is not the kind of job where you open up your inbox and pick the next few tasks given to you by your boss. If we knew what tasks should be done next, we would just do them right now.
This is the kind of position where you bombard us with questions until you have a full understanding of our product, our target audience and the market and then come up with crazy ideas on how to drive growth.
You need to work in a highly structured way, form a thesis, document it, implement it (need good communication skills with the rest of the team), monitor it (important!), and then tweak it (or dismiss it) based on actual data.

The Artling is looking for a full-time Gallery Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for a driven individual interested in art and design, who can work independently as well as closely with the team. Duties will include social media management, generating content for our Artzine, assisting with event coordination, formulating proposals for offline projects and general administrative duties. As our team is small, this is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn more about working in the art world in Asia.
The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be able to deliver to a meticulous standard. Use of Microsoft Office, such as Excel and Word, is a must. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop, is a plus. Tasks will vary and candidates need to have existing knowledge of the Arts & Design field so they can jump straight into work!
To start ASAP! Salary commensurate with experience.
Send us your CV and a bit more information about yourself to email@example.com with the subject ‘Gallery Assistant Position.’ Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
As The Artling grows as an online art gallery, we also hope to become one of the primary resources for content on contemporary art in Asia. We are seeking part-time staff writers to write articles for our Artzine, relating to Asian art events and exhibitions happening regionally and internationally.
We are looking for a motivated, independent individual who will be able to deliver thoroughly-researched and interesting articles. The writer would be expected to pitch 3-4 article ideas per month to our team, and proceed with writing and researching whichever articles are selected. The role would also involve uploading the article to our website. Articles should be between 500-1500 words in length, and be accompanied by copyright-free/approved images.
The ideal candidate must speak and write in English fluently, and be able to deliver according to strict deadlines. A background in Art History or knowledge of the Art & Design fields is preferable. Writers will be paid at a fixed rate of SGD 35 per article written. As this is a part-time position, writers can work remotely, although if they are based in Singapore, they also have the option of working from our office in central Singapore.
Send us your CV and 2-3 writing samples to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject ‘Part-Time Staff Writer Application.’ Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
Agencies: Please don’t contact us. We are not seeking to outsource work. We want to grow our team permanently.
