A self-taught artist born in Lagos, Nigeria, I currently live in Bridgewater, New Jersey with my family. I am a realist painter, influenced by impressionism and abstract art. I draw inspiration from my immediate environment, always searching for art in every of aspect life, which is reflected in my work. I aim to capture those fleeting moments and preserve beauty in its bare essence. I work with oil and watercolor.

What inspires you?
Nature. I always paint from my immediate environment. This includes people closest to me, places I’ve visited and still life compositions deliberately pulled together. Songbirds, a series of colorful bird paintings I regularly revisit, was inspired by birds feeding in my backyard.
