Alexandre Akar is a French artist born in 1961 who lives and works in Gennevilliers. He graduated from the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts Olivier de Serres in architectural environment. Alexandre Akar's acrylic painting focuses on the human figure, urbanism and current music. It is characterized by the vigor of the design and the color. The artist draws his influence, among others, from German expressionism, Matisse, Picasso and Pop-Art. Alexandre Akar expresses himself as well on large formats as on walls, bas-reliefs, wooden objects and sculptures in composite material. The works of Alexandre Akar have been exhibited in France, Germany and the United States.
