Born: 1996
Hometown: Santiago
Based in: Santiago
I am a Chilean-American artist working actively since 2017 when I studied for one year Fine Arts in California. For personal reasons I've had to come back to Chile, and now I am finishing my Bachelor's in Construction Engineering, though I've never stopped making my art.
My work is centered around the idea of telling stories through images in a collage-like fashion. Centered around human experiences, telling their stories through a hero's journey type of method. Currently working with ink and watercolor, I am now experimenting with cardboard and printed collages.
What inspires you?
My need to leave something in this world besides dust.
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon, Fritz Khan and David Bowie
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
Black ink pencil 05 and 01. My Fabriano papers.
