A graduate of the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts in 2007, Jean Edelbluth explores in his works the dialogue between geometry and colors. He wants to be a witness to a world soaked in joy.
A voluntary actor in a renewal of abstract and minimalist art, Jean Edelbluth wants to share with viewers the outpouring of an immediate and almost audible poetic force.
Describe your creative process.
I draw from my research notebook the shapes found on the grid. Then other research on the composition allows me to fix the choice of colors. But usually when I plan to paint, unexpected colors appear. I like to leave a painting aside for a while to come back to it much later. I find new possibilities to invest.
