Hi! I’m an independent artist working and living in Los Angeles, California.
My passion is to create images inspired by nature, interior design, and emotions. Whether it’s paint and water on canvas, or drawing on my iPad, I love creating paintings and merging my pieces with interior design and staging.
Being able to find resolution in a medium that is solely based on intuition and expression, I found my calling. I’m most at peace and content when I’m in the flow of the process. I draw inspiration from nature, fashion, emotions, and experiences. I hope my work speaks to you, and I look forward to adding spark to your space! I look forward to the pleasure of working closely with you on custom work for staging, offices, homes, magazines, books, brands, and more!
As an emerging artist, I currently cannot afford my own studio, so I work anywhere there is space on the floor in my small apartment. I am currently juggling my art career and business with a full-time career in hopes that one day, I'll be able to provide for myself full-time with this art business. The first thing on my list - an art studio where I can work and store my supplies!
What inspires you?
Nature, emotions, storytelling
Describe your creative process.
My process is finding places in nature and interior design to inspire me, then I work off of my emotions and visualize those combinations to find a color palette and movement to convey in my pieces.
What are 3 words that best describe your work?
Calming, relaxing, and hopeful
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Joy Kinna, Kasia Krecicka
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
Aside from brushes, paint, water, and canvas, I believe the most important tool is intuition
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Art is to please yourself and not others. Make art for you, and those who believe in your work and appreciate the story that you try to tell will follow, and those are the most important patrons.
Where do you go for inspiration?
I like to journal to be in touch with how I'm feeling, and then I look at interior design for inspiration for color palettes, and nature for textures.
