Hello, I am Julia Borg, a contemporary artist, currently living in Malta. An important moment was my first trip to Malta, which changed my outlook and destiny. I am very happy living with my family on a wonderful Mediterranean island that inspires me to create. In the past, my main work was related to engineering and interior design, but I have always been drawn to art. As a child, I was engaged in an art studio, and later on decided to study art with private teachers. As a result, my main focus in professional art started in 2013 and turned my passion into a career.
Through my creativity, I strive to create interior paintings "joy for the eyes", which are distinguished by their abstract technique. Since the beginning of my journey, I have drawn inspiration from the great Impressionist artists, which is reflected in the selection of palettes and techniques. In the process, I achieved my unique style of "mosaic on canvas" a modern and fresh look at interior painting. My art works combine bright colors and give the viewer a multi-faceted perception, which makes it possible to find your own story.
Today I can confidently call myself a professional artist. I mainly provide commission works of art for exclusive customer orders. My paintings are sold all over the world and delight their owners in private collections in Europe, Russia, Australia, and the USA.
Julia states: «Real painting, like making love, allows you to express feelings without words. It is only through these feelings that it becomes a genuine art. All this is important to do with the soul and from the heart»
