Kiki was born and raised in New York City. Her modeling career brought her to Paris. While living in Paris, she became part of the cultural scene working with artists, writers and musicians. There she started her music career which brought her back to the U.S. where she signed with A&M records. After her years in front of the camera, she eventually moved behind the camera for her own creative work. Using SX70 Film, she experimented with painterly photography and found her home in the visual arts. Her photographs were sold at the Kevro Gallery in Delray Beach and throughout Florida to private collectors. From her painterly photos, it was a natural transition to canvas. Her large scale canvases invite the vibrancy of sky, water and earth. She says about her work, “I try to observe life’s pulsating beauty. The moment of transition from still to motion. Some form of nature that’s about to explode, like pollen in the spring, or roots forcibly pushing through earth". Her technique and scale are courageous and dynamic, while at the same time creating for us a gentle and lyrical connection with the natural world.
"“Drawn to the energy around me. I am surrounded by nature that inspires with awe and respect. Everything pulsates with life, on the verge of movement and change and growth. I am witness to this as nature explodes with life and vitality.” - Kiki"
