Narissara Pianwimungsa received her B.F.A. and M.F.A. in painting from Silpakorn Univeristy, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1996 and 2004, respectively. In 2003 she received the Purchase Prize Award of the International Print and Drawing Exhibition, Bangkok, Thailand, and in 2016, received the '15th Silpa Bhirasri Creativity Grant' from Silpakorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

She has had numerous solo exhibitions in Bangkok, with Galerie N, H Gallery, Play Gallery and more. She has also participated in group exhibitions in Bangkok, Thailand, and Yorkshire, England.
