Hello. My name is Nikolai Starostenko, I am an artist, I live and work in Novosibirsk, Russia.
The main topic of my work is a person and his emotional and physical state. I am concerned about various topics, such as the loneliness of a modern person, uncertainty about the future, his fears, phobias. My work is half improvisation and inspiration, on the other hand, thoughtful and painstaking work, I use bright spots and a thin expressive line, no less important is the color design and the perfect combination of warm and cold colors. To create my works, I use watercolors, colored pencils, pastels, markers and a pen.
Education: From 2005 to 2010, he studied at the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University. The direction is Fine art. Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts.

Describe your creative process.
I do not always know what I will get in the end, it is difficult for me to explain how I create my works, basically all my works are improvisation and an additional small part, it is a long and thoughtful work with color and tone.
