Peshala who is a graduate from the Visuals Arts University based in Colombo is truly inspired by the nature, especially by flower petals. This fondness made her study them more closely and recapture their delicate elements through her paintings. She experiments with various kinds of mediums especially with acrylic, oil, resin, pigments, pastel and tempera. Her works are influenced by Jessica Zoob as well as Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama. With her ever evolving nature inspired works, she is fast becoming a sought-after Artist in Sri Lanka.
