Ruoqi Tang is a Beijing-based artist, designer, and multi-hyphenate creative. After nearly a decade of studying and living in Italy, he packed up his life and moved back to the capital at the end of 2016 for love.
Tang works magic with his abstract line and shape, and on a rare occasion, a pop of color. He often names his work after a friend, or simply untitled.
“Life is short and limited. Everyday life, dreams, the relationship between objects and me have made a major part of my existence, and of course of my reflections”, he says.
He holds a B.A. in Fashion Design from Università degli Studi di Urbino (Urbino, Italy) and a Executive Master in Luxury Goods Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy).
His works have been privately collected from China to abroad, as well as commissioned works by the French Company VAJ Holding.
