In 1970 Ariel Chavarro Avila was born near Bogotá in Colombia. His love for nature, colour and art began as a little child. He attended both the Fashion Design School Arturo Tejada Cano followed by Universidad de los Andes where he specialised in Fine Arts. In 2000 Ariel went to live and to exhibit in Madrid, Spain. In 2012 Chavarro moved to London, where he has been working and exhbiting in U.K. and across the world. He counts many solo shows and many collective exhibitions. Ariel is still collaborating with art galleries, art dealers, foundations and museums.
What inspires you?
Nature inspires Ariel, golden fish skin, gold mines, gold sunsets. Diversity of mixed textures provenience from trees, bird feathers, plant and tree leaves.
Describe your creative process.
Chavarro does the research looking and searching with deep detail from everywhere where nature affects and involves our life, our feelings, our emotions and of course our souls.
