Cassandra is a visual communicator. She believes in narrating stories and creating visuals for a cause; call this being a sustainability activist or simply a conscious designer. Her works are inspired by environmental and social concerns, travels and adventure.
A Mode of Being Apart is a photo essay book that sheds light into the situation of Xinjiang, China. Especially on the issue of discrimination which have caused tension between Han Chinese and Uyghurs, highlighting the enforcement of human rights in Xinjiang.
Regime (A Mode of Being Apart), is extracted from a particular chapter in this book and is a limited edition print.
