Based in: Den Burg
"As a curious and sensitive child/teenager I followed many art and dance classes. After one year at the fashion academy, I switched to visual arts, where the love to explore different materials was encouraged. After my graduation I started with wheel throwing and that was the beginning of a deep understanding and eagerness to ‘talk’ with clay. My sculptures are connections between my various passions: textile, clay, dance, fashion and sculpture. I love to explores space and play with rhythm, shape/form, movement, energy and sound. My work is telling you a story. Listen, see, feel and experience what happens when the sculptures move and enjoy the moment".

I am really inspired by nature and specially the ongoing movements like the tides, heartbeats, sun and moon...... And I love to explore the possibilities of the material clay
My ideas arise during quiet, meditative moments and when I am working. Sometimes the colour is the starting point, sometimes the size or the shape. The material is also a big source of inspiration, to discover the possibilities, the colours, structures and surprises of the clay
Movements, interactive and sound
My hands are my most important 'tool'
I love to go to the sea
