Lives and Works: Bangkok
Chanoknet Commong is a graduate of Silpakorn University, Thailand and has continued his profession in this domain since completion of his studies. Beyond his fundamental beliefs, his encouragement draws upon the nature of art to purify human morals. In this regard, he has constituted an art scheme, namely “Art – For Scruples” and contributes his endeavors to a wide variety of communities including education and society both at the micro (local) and macro (global) perspectives. Chanoknet creates art pieces that have been tailored to a sense of simplicity whereby he illustrates stories through his spirit in the form of traditional hand drawings.
Being a firm believer in simplicity that opens itself up to a pure-art and is able to convey beauty in idealism, Chanoknet’s beauty takes on the form of nature that occurs around us, such as mountains, bushes, stones and water. His foremost attention is focused on maintaining an idealistic concept in such a way that art tends to enrich both artists and viewers toward a sense of clarity, brightness and tranquility.
