Based in: Paris
Born in France, Clara Madeleine Tournay is a contemporary art artist based in Paris. She creates works that make your mind travel beyond reality.
Through her works, the artist unveils a cartography of landscapes, touching the fragility of the world, our relationship to what surrounds us and its possible disappearance. For the artist, art is a total experience, at once perceptual, emotional and personal where colors reveals your consciousness.
Mixing colors, movements, textures and suggestive drawings, his works become a journey of perception of the emotions of the world where time no longer exists, allowing to feel a "rainbow roller coaster" of sensations forgotten under the weight of responsibilities.
The artist also asks the question of our perception of the world today. The world needs colors. It is through her gestures, her dance, her breath on the canvas, that she works her works to offer an artistic journey to her audience. To give back an enthusiastic look, almost in love with our world. An art to give life, to create a catharsis and to involve an upheaval in oneself. A colorful mise en abime of our society. It is this image of the world that she strives to reveal.
Winner of the VI edition of the Paris AMMA public prize for contemporary art, and published in World of Interiors by Vogue Magazine. She presented "Liquid Landscapes" in a group show organized by Elie Arts Agency with the artists Jenkel & Marin.
Resident at Plateau Urbain in a Parisian studio, she is preparing several projects including her next exhibition for the Beaux-Arts gallery in Paris.
"A studio that immediately immerses us in his universe, his works are in themselves passages to your consciousness. A studio with his image, colorful, bright, which brings you back to the joy of life."
