Doriane Millet is a french artist born in Nancy.
After studying applied arts in Paris, at the Olivier de Serres school and at the Duperré school, she joined the illustration section of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels.
Passionate about narrative images, she works on projects of art prints, wall paintings and artist's books.
Her artistic world revolves around the themes of love relationship, fairy tale, everyday life and disenchantment, and often comes down to autofiction.
What inspires you?
The fictions of my childhood and the way they still influence me. Prefabricated "fairy" worlds, like water parks or Disney animations are omnipresent in my work.
Describe your creative process.
Usually, I start with these "wonderful worlds" and mix them with unusual elements, often inspired by my everyday's life.

Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Louise Bourgeois is perhaps the artist whose work touched me the most.
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
My graphic tablet.

I go to Disneyland.
