A Vietnamese hobbyist artist, currently working in Singapore as a programmer. I might not have any degree in art but I do have a long time hobby of drawing with great passion since I was a child. Most of my works in the past were graphite/pencil (b&w or colored), though with time I have developed my passion for acrylic recently. It’s like a whole new horizon to discover.
To me art is a medium for me to express ideas and reality as seen from my perspective. It’s a form of communication.
I’m pursuing a style of art where reality and imagination are mixed together nicely, so that by looking at my works viewers can see a familiar face, scene or thing in a strangely different state.
A passion of expressing through drawings/paintings. Something I was given since birth and never really a thing that inspires, it’s a part of me.
What do I want to tell? In which way? Which medium is best suit for this? A few sketches and start doing it right when the concept is most vivid in my head.
Familiar, yet, strange
