I am a self taught artist who currently resides in Los Angeles. Originally born in South Africa, after the age of 5 my family emigrated to England where I finished my schooling. In my twenties I decided to pursue my dream in acting and headed to California. During my spare time from acting I began painting to fuel a creative outlet for myself, this hobby eventually grew and developed into another passion of mine which co-exists with my journey with acting.
I work intuitively; exploring different ways to create abstract forms, negative space and inherent energy through color and texture. Although my art might not show something in an ideal symmetrical form, the paintings have a sense of balance and order to them.
