Lives and Works: Taipei, Malaysia & Singapore
A self-taught artist trained in Architecture, Jaelle's works are sparked by the fragile delicate state of human contact- physical and immaterial, with the pursuit to mimic the essence and slowness of it all. Attempting to capture a single moment of emotion; the absence of time and chaos under the presence of a kindred soul, time is only recorded through the act of mark making to form and build up the intensity of sentiment. She works from personal memories of bodies that have ever crossed her path.
