Lives and Works: Seoul, Baltimore
Jennifer Yoo was born in San Francisco on January 4th in 1986. She was raised in the United States until she was 5, and she was raised in Korea until she went to college. From her art education, Jennifer Yoo learned her basic skills of art from Korea. She studied drawing, painting, sculpture and photography and jewelry and she still wants to learn more.
Flowers, trees and most of the nature inspired her works. Especially, she is inspired when the moment they grow and blooming. She makes figures and patterns from the nature and tries to bring the beauty and warmth in to her work as possible.
Jennifer's ultimate goal is to create works that could positively influence the people and engage the public. Moreover, She wishes to become an artist known for artworks that touch people’s hearts, rather than an artist famous for a particular style that fits in a particular period.
