Jeremy Prim is a contemporary, Seattle based artist, known for his evocative abstract seascapes. The impetus for his work derives from the beauty of the ocean and the peaceful solitude one feels in its presence. Emotive, rather than being purely representational, his atmospheric oil paintings are inspired by the coastline, with layers of blue and gray exploring a calming and emotional palette. As the hues blend and collide the viewer becomes immersed in the almost tactile rhythm of the sea.
Jeremy’s work is collected internationally, and has been exhibited at galleries in Seattle and Los Angeles. He is currently represented by Artspace, Saatchi, Singulart and The Artling.
