Joseph Wong, the eldest son of Alfonso Wong (the creator of comic “Old Master Q”), is a renowned architect. Currently a professor in a Taiwanese university, Joseph has previously served as visiting professors in Architecture Intermundial, Milan, directed by Daniel Libeskind and Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, Copenhagen. He has also held exhibition and given speeches in many countries across the world.
Joseph Wong graduated from the University of Kentucky, majored in architecture. From 1983, he started teaching in Philadelphia University of The Arts, Department of Architecture. He then established his architectural creation studio in the same year. He became the head of the department in 1989 and was granted in 1990 to be the tenure.
Since 1981, his works have been exhibited in several international exhibitions venues, including China Tianjin Art Museum; Nara, Japan Museum of Art; Bundeshausptasadt Berli; Shanghai Art Museum; Seoul, Korea Total Museum of Contemporary Art; Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong; Taipei Times Gallery and Philadelphia Levy Gallery, etc. This year, he exhibited in Chinese School in World Animation And Comic Art and Frozen - met the Old Master Q. His artworks, no matter abstract pictures or figurative sculptures, are popular to international art lovers, readers and collectors.
