Kristine Rapohina

Born: 1981

Hometown: Riga

Based in: Riga

I was born in Latvia. In my childhood, the best time spending was art - colouring, drawing, painting and creating! Years past by and I was totally in love with art making. Constantly attending art classes, trying new art materials. And when travelling abroad - the first thing to do is to visit the art museums, galleries and art shops. When I started my own family and our first daughter was born - it was like my whole world changed and I knew I need some great changes to make. And the answer was - ART. Then came second daughter and later son and that's when things got out of my control. Creativity was in all aspects of life, it was like breathing air, it was my meditation! Now that our fourth child is born I'm still drawing, painting and creating like never before - I find my time every day to draw, to paint, to practice. I am still learning Art every day of my life, but I feel that my art can make You happy, can make You smile and bring peace to Your soul!!! For me, art is to let out inner God's beauty, to fill the world around us with beauty.
