Hometown: Kuala Lumpur
Lives and Works: Kuala Lumpur
Painting, printmaking, sculpture
A Curiosity of how people and things work
led me to making things which allow an examination
of my location by means of stories.
The artwork become my workspace where
I draw up aspects and matters
relating to my address.
The several bodies of work I make;
provide ‘routes for exploration’ to an idea.

The world, the country and the society I move in, inform me with stories that affect the way I feel about my world; and my work is a result of me attempting to capture pictures of what I feel. To capture a feeling is like catching a cloud, it is real, substantial, but it changes, the moment we get close enough.
I form ideas over ideas, sometimes leaving parts from the previous layer to interact with new layers to arrive at an image that best contains the sense I am after.
Haunting. Presence. Storytelling.
