Born: 1996

Hometown: Moscow

Based in: Moscow

I was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia. I received an academic art education. In my works, I use the technique of multi-layer oil painting, which allows you to conduct the process of work subtly and accurately. I always pay special attention to details. In each individual work and in creativity as a whole. I consider my own work as a kind of mosaic of impressions. Those seemingly insignificant moments in our lives that make us happy.

About Mikhail Zrazhevsky

IconInspires

What inspires you?

I am inspired by the little things. A ray of sun suddenly fell on the table in the cafe, reflections in the windows of shops that randomly replace each other, the glare on a pile of apples lying on the counter of the store, the old gate covered with rust from time.It is important for me to convey the beauty and mystery of each that event.

IconMagnifying

What are 3 words that best describe your work?

Brightness, clarity, accuracy.

Who are some artists that have influenced your work?

I think I was most influenced by the artists of "Dutch Golden Age". I have always been struck by the clarity of their work. All the smallest details. Their technique. Careful and methodical. I have also always been attracted to the small size of their canvases. This format can always be covered and in any room such works will look like a jewel.
