Lives and Works: Bangkok, Thailand
Minchaya Chayosumrit is a graphic designer and printmaker based in Bangkok. She graduated from Silpakorn University and continued her study in Communication Design at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London where she developed her interests in handwork and printmaking processes. In 2013, she co-founded a small studio, The Archivist & STH. to PRINT, specialising in hand-pulled screen prints, selling art prints, collaborating with graphic designers and illustrators. During her career, she had displayed her work in group exhibitions, “Good to Walk” at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), “Here is ZINE 8th Tokyo-Bangkok”, “This is not a book” at Practice, “Hi, Hound Are You?” at Greyhound Headquarter, “systems14” print project by Braun Design in Peking and recently, “Co-Host: Lanna Revisited” in Chiang Mai Design Week 2014.
