IconInspires

What inspires you?

Nature, weather, seasons, life.

IconCreative

Describe your creative process.

I paint in a range of media and incorporate natural, found and reclaimed material. I embrace accidental and incidental moments in my work and allow myself to be guided by incident. There is a fluidity and resilience to my practice that relies on moments of disruption. This has led to a circular cycle of painting, disrupting and re-purposing. Painted landscapes are often deconstructed and assembled into precarious formal re-constructions, echoing the cycles of nature. I am interested in the space between renewal and collapse and my practice is a search for hope amid precarious uncertainty.
