At a very early age I decided that I would dedicate my life to art, I had this certainty when I found magic, discovering that I could express my admiration to great human beings with a simple pencil drawing.
Since then, art has been my oasis and my refuge has accompanied me at every moment. Experimenting in this wonderful world of aesthetic has strengthened me and allowed me to conquer myself and manifest through my work the most legitimate and true nature as a person through my creations. I have been able to manifest my emotions and feelings that have illuminated my path to fulfillment and self-knowledge.
My greatest desire is to achieve that my work is like a mirror, in which people who contemplate it, reflect themselves in the awakening of the consciousness of the beauty that is within us. With the aesthetic enjoyment that we all carry within and that we are capable to feel like the highest mission in art because from this deep sense of connection we know that we are part of this great Creation, aware that we are all One.
"The Studio is a refuge in which I can freely express who I am. Where I can reinvent myself and with each brush stroke modify the light and transform it with the magic of painting. The sculpture studio allows me to play in space with form and counter form, creating a third-dimensional presence with the artwork."
What inspires you?
I am inspired by the deep contact with myself, with people and nature. Also everything that was part of Mesoamerican culture, with the fascinating structure of Cosmos according to the Nahuas and its iconographic and philosophical richness.
Describe your creative process.
In sculpture, I make the modeling or direct carving and from there a mold is taken to make the casting. I work from miniature to large format. In painting, I dabble in small-format sketches with a specific theme and select those that really show what I want to express and transport it to a larger-format work. It is very important for me to experiment with pigments and mix them with different mediums. Always each work has an aesthetic reflexion.
What are 3 words that best describe your work?
Consciousness, eroticism, spirituality

Henri Moore, Luis Sahagún, Tomás Chávez Morado
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
The inspiration and constancy
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
The internal reference to listen to your own heart and follow the personal path in art to enjoy the creative process.
Where do you go for inspiration?
To my interior, nature and my connection with people close to me. To my origins, to what is happening here and now and to the world I aspire to leave it a little better than I found it. Be aware of the past. present and future, all is One.
