Samantha Redfern is a British Fine Artist living and working in Singapore. Graduating from Bath Spa University with a BA Hons Fine Art Painting in 2004.

Upon graduating Samantha embarked on a successful sales career before taking a break from the corporate world to start a family and her own freelance art business.

Samantha has exhibited in multiple art fairs in Asia and is represented by a number of galleries as well as having international collectors.

Her style is abstract expressionistic and she is inspired by landscapes, florals and architecture.

What inspires you?

I am inspired by the world around me! I love the diversity of Singapore particularly the urban meets jungle. I love flowers and botanicals and creating happy artworks.

I get my inspiration from walking in Singapore. I take a lot of photos but I work from my imagination.

I love the works of Georgia O’Keeffe and Monet. Modern artists that inspire me are artists such as Joan Blond.

I paint in acrylics so I have a huge collection of acrylic paints and inks.

To paint from your heart.

I go outside! But I also turn to Instagram. I follow a lot of amazing artists.
