Mostly painting in abstract form, my work is full of imaginary landscapes, with reflections from the colours and spirit of the French Atlantic Coast where I am from. I love to play with colours and textures, so the viewer can feel emotions and travel into my world. Starting with an idea and a colour palette, and letting the inspiration go! For me, painting is giving peace and joy to the viewer and letting them imagine their own story inside the painting, with their own history and feelings.
What inspires you?
My main source of inspiration is the french atlantic ocean where I come from and the whole world around us. Colours, shapes and lights are everywhere. Creating is a need for me and I do believe that Art is everywhere it all depends how you look at the world.
Describe your creative process.
I mainly work with oil colour and powder natural pigments. I start with the colours that I want to work with on the piece and then I let my inspiration go and the canvas talk. Art is from the heart – and comes to the soul - and my misty oil paintings can probably testify for these beliefs.
