Silvia Schuessler

Silvia Schuessler

Born: 1974

Hometown: Bayern, Großostheim

Based in: Großostheim

Born in Germany in 1974 and a mother of 3 children. Painting gives me a lot and it is for me like a little short holiday.
That was already the case as a child. I was able to dive into my own world, relax and recharge my batteries. At this time, my pictures were already exhibited in my school.

Now, I love and appreciate painting even more. It's a big part of my life. For me, painting is deep relaxation, inner feeling and interaction with myself and with the artwork. meditation. In addition to my artistic experience, intuition plays a big role for me and guides me during the painting process and therefore I call it „heart painting“.

Silvia Schuessler is a self-taught artist, carried by the love and passion for art!
Since she is a mother of 3 children, she has so far exhibited mainly national, but sold her pictures because of her online presence all over the world!

In her painting, she uses various materials (acrylic, varnishes, pigments, fabrics, ash, sumpfkalk, marble flours, etc.) and pigments and earth in oil, tempera, hot glue, wax etc... and usually likes to give her works an elegant finish.

More About Silvia Schuessler

IconCreative

Describe your creative process.

Whenever I am drawn to a picture, I know that I am right with that picture at the moment. I center myself and painterly follow the impulse that I have in this moment and that feels right for me.

IconMagnifying

What are 3 words that best describe your work?

Structure, elegance, beauty

IconUser

Who are some artists that have influenced your work?

Gabriele Musebrink from Germany

IconTool

What is the most important tool when creating your work?

First my spatulas and then my bowls to mix the colors

IconGive

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

The best advice I give myself over and over again is: only paint when you are fine and continue painting NOW on the picture you are attracted to IN THIS MOMENT. With this picture I am exactly right.

IconLightbulb

Where do you go for inspiration?

I am certainly inspired by nature, the flowers, trees, stones, because I love nature, the sun, etc ... Nevertheless, I paint from the inside rather than looking for pictures from the outside.
