Based in: İstanbul
Following a pattern of abstract creation, my works offer a window, passage, or just a set of lights for the viewers’ perception.
In the light of a belief in "forms and colors," I try to break all connections to reality and create a strong vision through abstraction. My approach is to achieve a balance between textured layers and distinct color fields spread over the surface, which approximates to monochrome.
I studied Architecture (B.A) and History of Art (M.Sc) at Istanbul Technical University. During my master's degree, I spent a year at Leuphana University Lüneburg in Germany, while I was working on my master thesis. I live and work in Istanbul.
As a self-taught artist with a background in architecture and the history of art, I am now intensively concentrating on my paintings after several years of self-practicing.
