Lives and Works: Bangkok
Thai sculptor Sivadol Sitipol received his BFA and MFA from Silpakorn University, from the Faculty of Decorative Arts (Sculpture) and the Faculty of Fine Art (Sculpture), respectively. He also attended a one-year Art History course at Visva-Bharati University in India.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout Thailand and in Japan. He has also had solo exhibitions, with "Inner Life" at Nandan Gallery in Santiniketan, India, and "The Turning of Karma 76-06" at the National Gallery in Bangkok in 2006. In 2016, he had a solo show, titled "BACK TO THE MOON," at Yenakart Art Gallery in Bangkok. He has won numerous awards, including the Contemporary Art Competition by Kasikorn Bank in 1998 and 1999, and Contemporary Art of Bangkok, Sculpture in 2000.
