Based in: London
My abstract style is inspired by meditation and the invisible world around us, and I believe that the metaphysical can become matter through art. My acrylic paintings attempt to express and actualise energy through shapes, movement, and colour. All of my paintings have their own story because each is a representation of energy that I have channelled through meditation. That’s where all of my ideas come from. While my work is abstract, there are also botanical and landscape influences in my paintings such as colour combinations or shapes found in nature. Nature fascinates me and I want to produce that same compelling attraction in an abstract form. All of my paintings are created using acrylic on card and some are finished with metallic paint and pen. The metallic touches are intended to add greater magic to the energy of the painting.
I’m a self-taught artist based in London seeking to establish myself as an emerging professional. After studying Fine Art at A-level I decided not to continue with this subject at university which resulted in me not painting for 10 years. It wasn’t until 2017 that I tapped back into this creative expression as a route to healing from illness. Over time, this creative remedy has bloomed into a collection of work that inspires and encourages viewers to open their minds to the beauty around them.
We don't have any works from this artist at the moment. Get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
