Lives and Works: Osaka

Takashi INABA began to make his art works by self-education from 1988. He began his original technique of creating mirror artworks in 1998. The concept of his artworks is the "consideration of substance." For his mirror artworks, the artist works from the reverse side, so the surface of the artwork remains flat.

He founded "unipon2kau2" in 1993, and founded the international art project "PUZZLE PROJECT" in 2006. This art project has been held in Osaka (Japan), London (U.K., 2008), Toronto (Canada, 2010), NY (U.S.A., 2011), Paris (France, 2012), Santa Fe (ART SANTA FE 2015, U.S.A.).
He is also the chief of Artist Space CERO established from 2008 until 2012, and co-organizer of the art event "P.A.D." since 2009.
Co-operation of direction for MI Gallery since 2012.

He opened pad GALLERY in Osaka, Japan in 2014. (In co-operation with BOSS'HIKO and Miwa Ichiko)
