Thidarat Chumjungreed was born in August 1989 in Nakhonratchasima. She graduated with a second-class honors degree from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand. Her installation art presents the stories of her life through the structure of objects related to her daily life. She modifies lattice to the forms and structures of objects and, through the materials porosity, exhibits her memories of the past. Thidarat has been granted many awards from art contests such as the Silver Medal Award for the 29th and 30th Young Artist contemporary art exhibition and a Silver Medal from the 59th National Exhibition of art (Mixed Media Category). She has also enjoyed many opportunities to join art exhibitions such as The "13 Years of Life Tide and Hope" project in 2012, the art exhibition for the 36th Anniversary of the Thai Art Department in 2013, the 4th Young Artists Talent art exhibition at Chiang Rai, Thailand, Ploy Saeng 10 festival :10/10 at TCDC, Thailand as well as the opportunity to participate in a workshop and exhibition in Los Angeles, USA organized by The Thai Youth Contemporary Arts Program at Baan Dam, Chiang Rai in 2014. At present, Thidarat is pursuing her Master's Degree at the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, Nakhon Patom, Thailand.
