Wah spent most part of his teens in Hong Kong and London; 22 years in the world of fashion since the roaring 60's in London, a one time hot-shot fashion designer in Hong Kong in the later 70's. He returned to London in the 80's, rocking fashion off the high street, and changed roles in the late 80's to become an intuitive culinary re-inventor, turning out eclectic concoction for discerning diners in hard-to-find hidden locations in London.
One fine stormy mid-summer night in '94, out of the blue and while on transit in Bali, Wah dropped his kitchen knife and accidentally picked up a palette knife - the rest is history. After decades of hard labour in life and inspired by procreation via his new born baby, Wah - out of pure desperation and armed with sub-zero Western art theory but oozing with Eastern sensibility - concocted with tons of chi, speed of lightning and fused with the most vibrant hue ever in the thousands of years of Chinese Calligraphy, conceived Wah Calligraphy.
Wah has since done countless solo exhibitions across Southeast Asia and currently resides in Bali. His works are represented in the collections of various international corporations, banks, five star hotels and resorts, and prominent private collectors.
