About the art
Artist statement
'Come Home' is from the silhouette series and is part of a diptych with 'Take Me Home'. The inspiration for the imagery is the idea of what constitutes a home. Is it a childhood memory, a physical structure or a future place?
The base layer is paper ephemera consisting of blueprints, found book pages, etc. The figure is applied by photo-transfer and the house was created from cardboard.
Signed on the back and ready to hang.
