Artist Statement
I expanded the previous Tokyo Blues work and created a series. This is the second work in the series.
Japan along with Korea is probably one of the most homogeneous countries today. It's easy to feel one with the crowd, or completely alienated from it depending on your mindset. Especially in the morning rush hour - if you ever take a trip to Japan I recommend you to sit at Blue Bottle Cafe at Shinagawa Station in the morning - the view of the crowd below is unbelievable!!
