Agnieszka Kuntzmann b.1986 has been born and raised in Poland, where she got her Masters of Arts degree in Philosophy and Communication, and continuous art education (major Art Photography). In late 2012 she relocated to Switzerland, where she established her art practice. Kuntzmann’s studio is located in the remote valley near Basel (Switzerland).

Her non-figurative works are in search for totality in connection to Nature. Emerged from it and as an integral part of a biotic system Kuntzmann's artwork has a life on its own. Metaphorically and literally, as she often uses in her works natural materials e.g. variety of salts, algae's, minerals.

In the art process she puts herself as a unit moving along and belonging to a large system of interconnected elements, a subject of an organic flow. The common threat in her work is the tension between forethought or spontaneity - structure and disorder. Which is present in often visually dramatic works she brings into being, destroy, rebuild and so it continuous.
