Symbolically, apple is known for knowledge, immortality, temptation, the fall of man and sin also similarly in the latin word malum means ‘evil’. The meaning may perhaps had influenced the story behind of how Adam and Eve was fallen into the human world where it is believed that apples was somehow a forbidden fruit that God had forbid them to eat. Due to its temptation, they have failed, fallen and lived as the first human on Earth. The devils had manipulated and persuade them to defy the God’s will that had cause unfortunate events to Adam and Eve.
Similarly, in Mastermind, OIM-Prototype II is illustrated with stripes that portrays as a court jester where evil temptations were made to manipulate a weaker minded human. Believing its outer appearance rather knowing its plot behind.
