This piece is an original painting, that can also be reproduced as a print. The original is acrylic on wood panel measuring 30" x 30" square, and can be hung in any orientation. The colors are added to a black background to give the piece depth and make the color pop! Slivers of red are added for contrast to enhance the depth of the piece. A crackle medium is added to produce texture and to emulate the look of wood. This painting will add a nice pop of color to any neutral environment.

As an Artist, I have always been fascinated with the process of painting. The act of Painting and an experimentation with various mediums or materials has always been an integral part of my visual language. Spontaneous and intuitive mark-making help me convey emotions through color interactions and movement. I strive to create a sense of balance and harmony in my work, and it is through this process that I find a greater understanding of myself while experiencing a deeper connection to my surroundings. Having lived in New York City for over 25 years, my work has been influenced by the urban environment. For this inspiration I seek out the decaying, worn out spaces and surfaces that hold so much history and tell the story of how things change over time and of a beauty that is overlooked or forgotten.
I love to share my work and process with a greater audience and if my work connects with someone and brings them joy, then I have achieved my goal as an Artist.
