The Macro Garden Collection is inspired by the vegetation of the exceptional Zuid-Kennemerland National Park in North Holland.
The beauty and diversity of visible animals and plants whilst walking in the misty morning, waiting for the sun to appear.
A CONCEPTUAL CONTEMPORARY VISION OF PLANTS UNDER A MACRO LENS. FOCUS OF A PARTICULAR OBJECT GIVES A VIEWER AN OPPORTUNITY TO DIVE DEEPER AND FIND THEMSELVES UNDER THE SPELL OF A MOMENT.
The more you look at it, the more mysterious it becomes, against a fading background. A magical garden awaits you. Just open your imagination.
This collection was created during the pandemic of 20-21. Due to social isolation, the forest was my go-to place where I could restore my energy levels. The woods, with its great source of wisdom and creativity.

Siberian-born, Netherlands-based contemporary artist.
I started my art journey in 2016 by taking private lessons from well-known Latvian artist Ilgvars Zalans.
My expanding practice is gradually moving from landscapes and still life to abstract compositions.
I work with oil, mixed media and digital art to capture the brightest moments of my personal experiences.
Nature is a primary inspiration, helping to bring colour and dynamism to each work.
