Artist statement
The Macro Garden Collection is inspired by the vegetation of the exceptional Zuid-Kennemerland National Park in North Holland.
The beauty and diversity of visible animals and plants whilst walking in the misty morning, waiting for the sun to appear.
A CONCEPTUAL CONTEMPORARY VISION OF PLANTS UNDER A MACRO LENS. FOCUS OF A PARTICULAR OBJECT GIVES A VIEWER AN OPPORTUNITY TO DIVE DEEPER AND FIND THEMSELVES UNDER THE SPELL OF A MOMENT.
The more you look at it, the more mysterious it becomes, against a fading background. A magical garden awaits you. Just open your imagination.
This collection was created during the pandemic of 20-21. Due to social isolation, the forest was my go-to place where I could restore my energy levels. The woods, with its great source of wisdom and creativity.
