Artist Statement
I've always loved photography, and began get interested in colour theory and the use of dimension and optics to enhance a photo. The artwork started out as a photograph where I use light, shadow and colour to create an image on acetate. This image is then sandwiched between various layers of glass to add dimension and to create a sculpture out of a photograph. These sculptures can be made in various sizes and dimensions and can be directly printed on glass. The colours seen vary depending on lighting and background.
As shown unframed 10 x8. Framed 11x9.

Self taught. Originally trained as an optometrist in NYC, I also worked as a fashion stylist through school. This is where I began to get interested in photography, colour theory and the use of dimension and optics. The artwork started out as a photograph where I use light, shadow and colour to create an image, I then use layering of acetate and resin to add dimension to create a sculpture out of a photograph.
