THE STORY
This is a memory of an apartment I lived in, in Sydney. I was particularly drawn to the dominant presence of the flora and fauna surrounding us -- specially the terrace garden adjoining the apartment, and the bird named 'Sydney' which became an interesting part of the stay!
THE PROCESS
This is a drypoint etching print made from an acrylic plate. Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking technique, where the image is scratched with a needle on a plate, and then inked and transferred on damp paper, using an etching press.
