Artist Statement
The picture was painted by me under the impression of a trip to Kamchatka. The unusual landscape of snow-capped volcanoes and the view of snow caves impressed me. I was looking for a way to portray my feelings in a new way. I wanted to convey the unusual shape of the cave. And I think I did it.
