Artist Statement

Painting "Snow Leopard" from the series "Patchwork Animals of the North" I admire the beauty and plasticity of wild animals. I make a drawing of an animal and break it down into fragments. I make it look like a stained glass window or a patchwork quilt.
I really like the technique of oil painting, with its help I can achieve a stained glass effect in my painting.
I would like the viewer, looking at the picture, to feel the joy of the early morning, when the sun just rises and its rays penetrate the colored glass.
My style is distinctive and unique, I call it stained glass (stained glass or patchwork quilt).

The rest of this series can be seen on my profile.
