Artist Statement
This XL painting made in mixed media techniques with acrylic, oil pastel, chalk.
UV-protection varnish is applied.
The artist continues the Science art collection and uses the Poisson distribution from the probability theory.
The formulas, numbers (probability values), and matrixes are used as abstract elements to give the painting more depth.
"Poisson" means in french "fish".
The contrast of vivid colors and lettering makes the artwork an eye-catcher!
The artwork painted on a high-quality canvas and will be shipped rolled unmounted (not stretched). You could easily stretch the painting by a local framer shop.
The painting size is 150x120 cm plus an additional 3cm from each side as painted edges and an additional 3 cm for stretching. The whole canvas size is 160x140 cm (63''x55'' inches).
The painting is signed on the front- and back sides.
